Marvel steps it up again with the release of the new movie, No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home has become the most anticipated, the biggest, and the most grossing movie of 2021 by earning ₹139 crore at the box office in its first week just in India. It stands to be the most popular movie even after all the leaks which came out before the movie. “With great power comes great responsibility” - the last parting words of all the Uncles and Aunt of Peter Parker in every universe before they die. But great power also has great consequences, and if this third installment in the Spider-Man franchise was when you were hoping Tom Holland would grow up to that realization, you are in for a disappointment. Yes, no way home is all that you have been hearing and talking about, and lived up to everyone's expectations. It is gratifying and immensely nostalgic to indulge in your favourite Spider-Men films of the past once more. Holland’s Peter remains as likable and eager as ever.

The films start exactly where Far From Home’s end credit scene finished. Peter’s identity had been revealed by Mysterio and now Peter was in a great jerk. Because of this catastrophe, he was in a great problem so he asked Dr. Strange to reverse it and while doing so, there happens to be a mistake in the spell, which leads to multi-universal problems.

Now if we compare Avengers: Endgame and NWH, they both are best in their own level as Endgame was a movie that put an end to the infinity saga and had a pure ending. But if we talk about NWH, it’s also a wholesome movie but it’s not purely ended because anything can happen next and after those end credit scenes.

No Way Home shows Tom Holland’s Peter Parker’s selflessness, putting others before himself, which later kind of leads to his own downfall which not only breaks my heart as a fan, but also makes me respect this character so much.

It is a monumental feat, and is easily one of the best marvel films to date. It combines 3 generations of cinema in the best way possible (kudos to Jon Watts). The writing is rich, still lively but more believable which stays true to the character, and not making them seem abrupt. The themes are much darker and as the story unfolds, the stakes only get higher.

As a big marvel fan and a huge Spider-Man geek, this movie was like a fever dream, and it truly was a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic experience.
